About me
I’m Martina and I’ve been a tour guide in Prague and its surroundings since 1995. I began guiding while still a student of English at Charles University here in Prague. I graduated in 1999 and began working full time as a tour guide in Prague and the entire Czech Republic. Not only will I show you the sights of Prague, but I’ll also share with you our history from the early times right up to the present, including the recent Velvet Revolution in 1989.
I was born and raised in Prague and have lived here all my life. Currently I live in the suburbs of Prague with my English husband and our two children. As well as guiding I also teach English privately to non-native speakers.
I’m eager to help you enjoy the beautiful and historical places in the wonderful city of Prague, which is great to visit at any time of the year.
I am a fully licensed guide which allows me to take visitors around Prague and the whole of the Czech Republic as well as the Jewish Museum in Prague.
Hi Martina, my husband and I will be in Prague August 16-23 which is part of a trip that was booked and planned for 2020. So God willing we hope to get to see your beautiful country this year. I had planned a bunch of individual tours which I had to cancel. Now I’ve been thinking it would be nice to have one guide for the tours if that is possible. I had scheduled a city tour, a castle tour, a boat tour of Devil’s Channel and the Vltava River, clock tour, underground tour, Cesky Krumlov tour, Jewish Quarter and cemetery tour, Karlstejn Castle and glass factory tour, Kutna Hora with chapel tour, Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland tour plus several evening outings. If you can’t tell I had a lot scheduled. I can do it again, but would like to explore the one guide concept. If you can help I would love to hear what you think.
