Český Krumlov is a small medieval town in South Bohemia surrounded by woods and nestled in a double bend of the Vltava river. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous for its Old Town with 300 protected medieval buildings and castle complex.
This completely unspoilt treasure is much admired by visitors from all over the world. We will walk along narrow crooked lanes, climb the castle hill and visit the castle gardens which offer a breathtaking view of the town. It is a real gem not to be missed!
Český Krumlov is a cultural center with many museums and galleries, the Castle Baroque Theatre of 1766 is absolutely unique and is worthwhile a visit. Česky Krumlov, however small it seems to be, hosts an international musical festival every summer which has won an international popularity and prestige.
