It was once the second most important town in Bohemia after Prague thanks to its rich deposits of silver. The wealth and prosperity of the town is clearly obvious as we stroll through this still rather quiet and picturesque mediaeval town.
We will visit St.Barbara´s Cathedral which was to represent the triumph of the mining industry.
We will not miss the former royal mint where the Czech currency was minted. The ossuary (bone church) in the nearby village of Sedlec will give you an unforgettable experience! This tour allows time for a delicious Czech lunch.
